Queen Bea School Program - Customize for your school!

Excitement & questions abound

at Pleasant Valley Elementary School on Global Day of Play

One morning this February, nine year old Sadie stood in front of two assemblies of students at her elementary school in Novato, CA. After each screening of Queen Bea, she described her experience making the film and winning a Best Actress award at one of the film festivals in 2023. She answered questions and the support for her and the film was shared through excited comments and questions, laughter, hugs, and eagerness to share how they felt about it.

One student's question has stuck with me in the past few months since 2/7, "What do you think the moral of the story is?" the student asked, and another student said immediately, "Love your children." That simple. And it truly is.
