"We are all connected by simple wish, to be visible, to be heard, to know that we matter."
In 2018, Laura and Christina began discussing the idea of what it feels like to be invisible, to feel overlooked, unseen and unheard. Both were struggling with some feelings of depression and frustration about the changes taking place in their lives as they aged. As they processed how they felt and shared stories, they knew they needed to express and share this with a larger audience through video interviews. After meeting with 12 community members, it became clear that each person interviewed, had a distinct and personal relationship with invisibility. We are grateful that they were willing to share their stories, viewpoints and feelings with us.
This is Kay’s story.
